Verschillende culturen  kenden en kennen  reïncarnatie onder een of andere vorm.De Oude Egyptenaren, de Kelten,de Indianen  van Noord Amerika, de Oude Indiërs, De Tibetanen, de Azteken en Mayas in Mexico,de Inca’s , de Australische Aborigenes, de Druzen in Libanon, de Romeinen en Grieken, de Katharen, enz.

Zelfs de Christelijke Kerk zou  reïncarnatie als onderdeel van zijn leer gehad hebben tot aan het tweede Concilie van Constantinopel in 553 !

Van de nu nog bestaande grote religies  zijn het natuurlijk het Hindoeïsme en het  Boeddhisme die reïncarnatie als onderdeel van hun religie kennen.

Echter: aangezien religies steeds de bedoeling hebben hun volgelingen te manipuleren en binnen de pas te laten lopen  is ook hun reïncarnatie – leer  niet neutraal en dus niet bruikbaar  als objectieve informatiebron.

Op 5 mei 1957 verongelukten in de plaats Hexham, Engeland, de zusjes Joanna  en  Jacqueline Pollock samen met een vriendje. Joanna was 11 jaar en Jacqueline 6 jaar. De drie kinderen waren op weg  naar de Saint Mary’s Church van Hexham toen ze door een auto gegrepen werden. De zusjes waren op slag dood, hun vriendje Anthony overleed kort daarna in het ziekenhuis.

Het jaar daarop, op 4 oktober 1958 werd in het gezin van John en Florence Pollock een  ééneiige tweeling geboren: twee meisjes met de namen Jennifer en Gillian.  Jennifer  had van bij haar geboorte een dun wit lijntje op haar voorhoofd, precies op de plaats waar Jacqueline een litteken had gehad met dezelfde afmetingen. Bovendien had ze op haar linkerheup een bruine moedervlek  van dezelfde grootte en op exact dezelfde plaats als waar Jacqueline er een gehad had.

Vier maanden na hun geboorte verhuisde het gezin naar Whitley Bay, ook gelegen in Northumberland.

Toen ze een jaar of drie waren  gingen ze voor het eerst terug naar Hexham. Toch bleken ze de plaats goed te kennen. Zo  konden ze de school en het speelplein beschrijven terwijl ze daar nog nooit geweest waren. Ook herkenden ze  spontaan het huis  en de omgeving waar ze als Joanna en Jacqueline geleefd hadden.

Ze konden zich verder nog een hele boel details herinneren uit hun vorig leven  als Joanna en Jacqueline.

Het speelgoed en de poppen die de verongelukte kinderen hadden gehad en de Pollocks bewaard hadden herkenden  Jennifer en Gillian perfect en verdeelden het precies zoals Joanna en Jacqueline ermee gespeeld hadden. Van de poppen konden ze zich alle namen herinneren!

Ook het ongeluk herinnerden ze zich beiden. Ze speelden het soms na en beschreven daarbij ook exact de verwondingen die Joanna en Jacqueline hadden gehad.


Zoals dit verhaal uit Engeland zijn er  de voorbije tientallen jaren (en de eeuwen daarvoor natuurlijk) honderden opgedoken in alle landen en culturen ter wereld, ongeacht de religieuze of filosofische omgeving waarin  ze naar boven komen.

On 5 May 1957 had an accident in the place Hexham, United Kingdom, the little sisters Joanna and Jacqueline Pollock with a boyfriend. Joanna were 11 years and Jacqueline 6 years.
